I’m a machine learning researcher at Exa, working on ranking models for agentic search. Before Exa, I built a SOTA reranker at Google’s Gemini Enterprise. What ties my work together is a slightly obsessive interest in infinite knowledge — AI that can find any information that has ever existed.

Outside of work, I really enjoy reading about psychology and history, and drinking tons of iced coconut lattes. I am also an avid traveller — this map tracks the places I visited.

I created this page because I love to learn and teach. I started writing here to think out loud about search, ranking, and language models. Hope you enjoy following along!
